Discussion

Judge Executive David Johnston read aloud a "Year in Review" Report stating accomplishments that were made in 2011 in all departments of County government. The Judge said goals for the New Year included putting fire dues on the tax bills, making county roads safer by getting a Speed Limit Ordinance passed, making the County Road Department more efficient and getting a Wellness Program for County Employees started up.

Judge Johnston added County Employee Beau Wright to the Wellness Program Committee.

Magistrate Jason Bullock said he wanted to have a public forum at the January 24, 2012 Court meeting in order to get the public's opinion on the Smoking Ban Ordinance.
