5. Purchase Fire Station Property
Actions Taken

Motion Passed:  Motion made for the Court to approve the County Judge Executive, David Johnston to sign all documents to purchase a parcel of real property described in a certain deed dated March 22, 2011, from the Ohio County Master Commissioner to the Federal National Mortgage Association, which is recorded in Deed Book 389, Page 344 records of the Ohio County Clerk. The purchase amount shall not exceed the sum of $45,000.00. The Judge Executive shall secure an opinion of title from Tara Ward, Attorney at Law, Foreman and Watson, Hartford, Kentucky before the acceptance of the deed and payment of the purchase price. The Ohio County Treasurer is authorized to pay up to $45,000.00 to the seller of real property for the purchase of same passed with a motion by Brandon Thomas and a second by Larry Keown.

6. Reapportionment-Change Resolution to Ordinance

9. Dynamic Fabrication Incentive-Kim Logsdon
Discussion

Mr. Logsdon presented to the Court a proposed ordinance permitting rebate or retention of 1% occupational tax license fee to an employer meeting the criteria of its application for incentives under the Kentucky business investment program for Dynamic Fabrication, the 1st Reading of the ordinance will be in 2 weeks at the next Court meeting, no action was taken.

10. Open Bids-Concrete/Steel Bridge

Motion Passed:  Motion made for the Court to accept the bid for a concrete/steel bridge from H B Stanley for $60,000.00 and to reject the bid from Big R Bridge of $110,344.00, passed with a motion by Kenny Autry and a second by Brandon Thomas.

Discussion

An agreement was presented by Gerald Geary to the court between the Jersualem Ridge Foundation and the Ohio County Fiscal Court, he asked the Court to look over the agreement and discuss, and no actio was taken.

Motion Passed:  Motion made by recommendation of Judge Executive, David Johnston to hire Leonard Gilstrap for maintenance on the wage subsidy program, as Temporary, Full-Time for a (6) month period at $9.50 per hour, effective June 27, 2011 passed with a motion by David Johnston and a second by Brandon Thomas.

Motion Passed:  Motion made by recommendation of County Road Supervisor, Joe Woods to hire Bill Gross as a Seasonal employee, effective July 16, 2011 at $10.00 per hour passed with a motion by David Johnston and a second by Brandon Thomas.

Motion Passed:  Motion made by recommendation of County Court Clerk, Bess Ralph that the Court approve the Financial Statement for June 2011 passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by Brandon Thomas.

Motion Passed:  Motion made by recommendatiion of Judge Executive David Johnston for the Court to hire Justin Dockery, part-time at $9.00 per hour at the Ohio County Detention Center, effective June 16, 2011 passed with a motion by David Johnston and a second by Brandon Thomas.

Motion Passed:  Motion made by recommendation of Judge Executive David Johnston for the court to reflect in minutes a change of status for employee, Mike Nall, from part-time at 22 hours per week to part-time 100 at 32 hours per week, effective July 1, 2011 with no change to hourly wages passed with a motion by David Johnston and a second by Larry Keown.
