1. Animal Shelter Committee-Magistrate Jason Bullock said Greg Hill, Couny Attorney has a copy of an ordinance that will possibly be brought up at the next court meeting, also the committiee went out and looked at 3-4 possible locations for the new shelter.

2. Jersualem Ridge Committee-Magistrate Jason Bullock said some aggreements had been made and wanted the Court and Co. Attorney to look them over and move on them at the next court meeting.

3. Road Weight Limit Committee-Magistrate Kenny Autry said the committee would be meeting during the week to work on a developing proposal.

Motion Passed:  Magistrate Jason Bullock asked the Court to approve Doug Berryman as the county's agent of record for all county insurances and cafeteria plan passed with a motion by Jason Bullock and a second by Kenny Autry.

Motion Passed:  Motion made by Michael McKenney that the Court approve the recommendation by Ohio County Clerk, Bess Ralph, to approve the February 2011 Financial Statement for the County Clerk's Office passed with a motion by Michael McKenney and a second by Larry Keown.

Motion Passed:  Motion made by Larry Keown that the Court close a dorminant savings account for Occupational Tax account number #321583 by recommendation of County Treasurer, Anne Melton passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by Kenny Autry.

Motion Passed:  Motion made by Larry Keown that the Court make an Interagreement with GRADD for $3,000.00 to do the mapping and reapportioning of county districts and for Judge to appoint a reapportionment committee to report back to the Court. passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by Jason Bullock.

Discussion

Recommendation to the Court by Jailer Rip Wright to hire Chris Cooper as a Temporary Deputy Jailer, at $9.00 an hour with a $.50 raise after 6 months, effective April 8, 2011 (Unanimous vote, 6 Yes and 0 No)

Recommendation by Bess Ralph that the Court approve the hiring of Christina Shepherd to replace Jimmie McGrew, for a full-time position at $10.75 per hour effective April 11, 2011 (Unanimous vote, 6 Yes and 0 No)

Recommendation by Judge Johnston to appoint a Reapportionment Committtee made up of County Clerk Bess Ralph, Buddy Shrewsbury, Magistrate Larry Keown, Eddie Shepherd, and Terry Miller.

Magistrate Kenny Autry brought reminded the Court that there was supposed to be a tourism appointment and Judge Johnston said that he was not ready at present time to appoint anyone and that he wanted to give the Court two other alternative choices to think about before making a decision.
