Notice of Hearing to receive comments on proposed tax (each speaker is limited to 3 minutes please)
The Spencer County Board of Education will hold a public hearing at the Taylorsville Elementary School Media Center on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. to hear public comments regarding the general fund tax levy options. The rates being considered range from a compensating rate of 60.2 cents to a 4% increase rate of 62.6 cents as allowed by House Bill 44.
