2014 Kids First Advocacy Conference COME TO FRANKFORT TO SPEAK OUT FOR KIDS!
Governor Steve Beshear and the Kentucky General Assembly will make critical education policy decisions that will have a direct impact on local school districts. There could not be a more crucial time for local education leaders to come to Frankfort and lobby their legislators. Education and community leaders CAN make a difference. That’s why KSBA is hosting Kids First in Frankfort Advocacy Conference and Lobbying Day. It is your opportunity to speak out for the students of Kentucky’s public schools.
• Learn from legislative leaders about important legislation and discuss current budget and revenue projections. • Visit with your legislators and influence education policy. • Meet with high-level officials in the Beshear administration. • Ensure that the influence of education leaders is felt in Frankfort.
