2013 Crisis Management for Schools
School emergencies will occur. Will we be prepared to minimize property damage, reduce injuries, and
save lives? This session will provide school and community leaders with effective planning and response
strategies for dealing with emergency or crisis situations. Your School Crisis/Emergency Plan is your most
valuable tool you have in your safety management arsenal. Procedures will be reviewed and updated with
the current recommendations made by the Kentucky Center for School Safety, Federal Emergency Management
Agency, and the Department for Homeland Security.
